Julie PONS WOODS, Yoga Therapist
I’m Julie Pons Woods, an anatomy educator, somatic movement specialist and yoga therapist.
For over 15 years, I’ve guided Yoga, Pilates, and movement professionals beyond technique; into a felt, embodied understanding of fascia, spirals, and the nervous system.
As a Chair Yoga teacher, I wanted to create a training that truly nourishes teachers.
So many of us know how rewarding chair yoga can be. Seeing students light up with confidence and move in ways they thought were no longer possible.
But we also know the challenge: how to keep classes fresh, creative, and safe week after week. That’s exactly why we designed the Chair Yoga & Movement Training. 💕
Fredee SARDAIS, Yoga Teacher
I have been teaching for over 25 years and I specialised in Adaptive Yoga, training teachers across Europe in this modality for participants living with disability, loss and trauma.
My initial training was in both Astanga and Iyengar. Over the years, my own mobility issues led me to seek a more body-kind approach and stop aggravating long term spinal injury through more forceful yoga styles.
In 2011 I started working with Mathew Sanford (USA), founder of Mind Body Solutions and pioneer in the adaptive yoga approach. This is an approach that reaches beyond disability to address disconnect, trauma and long term conditions.
For me this approach became what informs all my yoga classes, be it in classical or specialist classes. It also brought me home to a practice as of kindness to self, acceptance and immense joy. ✨
"Julie is an excellent teacher. Since attending her classes and practicing the breathing exercises my asthma has greatly improved, as has my balance with the exercises we do regularly."
