Our Teachers
Julie PONS WOODS
Julie is a Yoga Therapist. She specialised in working with people with mobility issues and people with special needs. She also trains yoga teachers in anatomy. Her compassionate teaching style empowers students to explore the practice at their own pace, fostering a sense of confidence and well-being.
Tessa WISBY
Tessa has been teaching yoga to all ages and abilities for 25 years and is committed to bringing the many benefits of yoga to everyone, sensitively adapting and modifying postures to meet individual needs
Sarah HELEN
I’ve been teaching for almost 10 years, following a disciplined background in classical dance. I was drawn to yoga as a more compassionate, heart-felt practise, far beyond perfecting the physical body as an aesthetic shape! I continue to be inspired by ancient yoga philosophies, traditions and depth of yogic traditions.
Testimonials
"Julie is very good at showing us how to utilise Chair Yoga to help with balance and strengthening the whole body. We do extensions to the chair-only movements, to use within the limits of our own bodies. It is very useful. The breathing exercises are a great addition to the yoga practice. I have found that my favourite can be used out and about, as well as within the privacy of my own home." Valerie
